Nammal which won her critical acclaim and various honors. She is the winner of two Kerala State Film Awards.Born Karthika Menon in a Kerala family, Bhavana is the daughter of Pushpa and, assistant cinematographer, G. Balachandran Menon. She has one brother, Jayadev, who currently lives in Vancouver, Canada.
